The Vegas Golden Knights are so hot this season, it’s surprising the rink hasn’t turned into a swimming pool. They are–legitimately–the best team in the NHL right now with a 13-2 record and 26 points. As of November 12th, they were also on a nine-game winning streak. This is a huge shift after missing the playoffs last season and firing head coach Peter DeBoer. Perhaps the best stat you’d like to know, however, is that after only 15 games, VGK has already scored 57 goals. That’s 57 free shots if you watch the Vegas Golden Knights at The Still so far, and there are 67 regular-season games left to be played. Like Michael Scott once said, “you miss 100% of the free shots from The Still you don’t take.” 

More Good News 

The Vegas Golden Knights have one of the most dynamic duos on the ice right now in Mark Stone and Jack Eichel. Think Jordan and Pippen on skates. They’ve already played 116 minutes on the ice together this season, and are starting to be annoyingly unstoppable per the rest of the NHL. When these boys are on the ice, the VGK are out-scoring their opponents 9-2, which is a better record than the Dukes cousins against Boss Hogg. The Pacific Division isn’t as stacked as the others in the league, so the Golden Knights should be able to keep their position at the top. This team will be unstoppable if they get their penalty kills polished up.
