Chicken Street Tacos: These mouthwatering tacos are a little bit sweet and a little bit savory. They’re made with al pastor chicken, pineapple slaw, and arbol salsa. The platter is served with warm chips and arbol salsa.

In the know: what is “al pastor”? Did you know that pastor means “shepherd”? This dish’s name actually refers to to the Lebanese merchants who came to Mexico in the early 1900s, bringing the idea of shawarma with them. Meats served in the al pastor style feature thin meat shavings which are marinated with spices and something sweet and/or acidic (like pineapple). The cooked meat is a little savory and a little sweet and completely addictive.

Steak Street Tacos: You’ll want to break for this steak! Our steak street tacos feature marinated carne asada, Mexican slaw, and arbol salsa. The platter is served with warm chips and arbol salsa.

In the know: what is “carne asada”? Carne asada translates simply as “grilled meat”. It usually refers to thinly sliced beef. It’s a common protein to feature in all manner of Mexican dishes, from nachos to burritos to fajitas. At The Still, it’s one of the shining stars of our taco offerings.

Grilled Fish Soft Tacos: Wishing for fish? These tacos are the perfect pick for you. They’re made with mahi mahi, cholula aioli, avocado, and sweet cabbage slaw. The platter is served with warm chips and arbol salsa.

In the know: why do fish tacos feature mahi mahi? There’s a reason why mahi mahi is so popular in fish tacos. According to Food and Wine, the best types of fish for tacos are “white-fleshed, mild, saltwater fish. Whether snapper, mahi mahi, grouper, flounder, halibut or cod, wild, local fish are the tastiest choice for Baja-style tacos.” Since mahi mahi is a prized cut of fish, it’s important to keep toppings simple so that they don’t overpower its naturally delicious flavor. We think that you’ll find The Still’s version of fish tacos has the perfect balance of well thought out toppings that still allow the flavor of the mahi mahi to shine.

Crispy Lobster Soft Tacos: These creative tacos feature a great variety of textures and flavors. They’re made with beer battered Maine lobster, cabbage, mango salsa, and sweet chili aioli. The platter is served with warm chips and arbol salsa.

In the know: what makes Maine lobster so great? Maine lobster, also sometimes referred to as “American lobster,” is actually not just found in the Maine region. It’s found from Labrador all the way down to New Jersey. These lobsters can weigh up to 40 pounds each! According to Mainer, one of the things that make it special in addition to its size are the fact that it comes from cold water, which keeps the meat from absorbing excess salt and makes the flavor sweeter and more concentrated. We think you’ll love the way it tastes in our tacos!

What should you drink with tacos? Well, obviously a Margarita would be a great choice. Any of these tacos would be tasty with our El Presidente Margarita, which includes Casamigos Blanco tequila, lime, agave, and Grand Marnier. Or, if you want to try something a little different, maybe you’ll try our Hot and Dirty cocktail, which is made with Belvedere Intense Unfiltered Vodka, Gvori Olive Juice, and Scrappy’s Firewater Habanero Tincture.

Beer is always a great pairing for tacos, too. At The Still, we offer over 50 types of craft beer in total. We also have a variety of Hop-Tails, or cocktails made with beer!

As you can see, we take our tacos very seriously at The Still. Our flavors offer a little bit of tradition yet plenty of creativity all at once. You truly have to taste them for yourself! We hope to see you at our Las Vegas sports bar soon so that you can sample our creative taco flavors and tell us which one you like best.
