Las Vegas Bar Food and Drink Pairings

At The Still, we pride ourselves on offering some of the best food from one of the most unique kitchens in Las Vegas: a refurbished Airstream trailer called Bud Bud’s. Our eclectic menu features upscale takes on game day fare, tacos, American classics, and even some globally inspired creations.

There’s only one thing that can make our menu items even better: the perfect drink pairing. To help enhance your enjoyment of our food offerings, we’ve created a guide to pairing each of our menu items with a drink from our menu. Eat up, drink up, and enjoy!

Appetizers

Warm Chips and Salsa:

Pleasingly warm chips are served with our house-made salsa, which is made hunky style, with tomato, jalapeno, and cilantro.

What to drink with it: Beer, of course! No matter what your favorite type of beer is, you’ll find something to love on our extensive menu, which features over 50 craft beers.

Guacamole:

Everyone loves guac. Ours  is made with avocado, lime, cilantro, and served with warm chips.

What to drink with it: Once again, beer is always a perfect pick with chips and accompaniment!  A Margarita is also a great choice: try our El Presidente Margarita, which is made with Casamigos Blanco Tequila, lime, agave, and Grand Marnier.

Organic Mixed Greens Salad:

Keeping it healthy? Try this salad, made with fresh cut vegetables and white balsamic vinaigrette; you can add chicken breast or steak to make it a little heartier. 

What to drink with it: Salad loves wine. A crisp white like a Sauvignon Blanc works nicely with the balsamic vinaigrette; if you’re opting for steak added to the salad, you may consider a lighter red like a Pinot Noir.

BBQ Chicken Quesadilla:

BBQ chicken meets Mexican food meets grilled cheese. This quesadilla is made with grilled chicken, Oaxaca and Monterey cheese, and sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

What to drink with it: This is the perfect dish to try with our Kentucky Mule. It’s made with Russell’s Reserve 10 Year Bourbon Whiskey, lime, and ginger beer. The bourbon works wonders with the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce!

Crispy Style Chicken Wings:

We offer a few varieties of wings: our Signature buffalo, Spicy Korean, or classic BBQ style. You can get an order, or get a bucket of 75 wings!

What to drink with it: Wings are perfect with beer; however, to try something a little different, consider one of our “Hop-Tails” or beer cocktails. The “Lucky” Luciano, made with Avion Silver Tequila, Aperol, lemon, basil, and Stiegl Radler Grapefruit, is a perfect place to start sampling this portion of our menu.

Chicken Caesar:

Simple perfection: this salad is made with grilled chicken breast, creamy parmesan dressing, and crunchy crouton.

What to drink with it: You can’t go wrong with a sparkling wine, which has the acidity to “cut” through that tangy dressing.

Tacos

All of our creative tacos are served with warm chips and arbol salsa.

Chicken Street Tacos:

Sweet and savory! These tacos are made with Al Pastor chicken, pineapple slaw, and arbol salsa.

What to drink with it: Balance out the sweet with a little heat. Try it with our Hot and Dirty cocktail, which is made with Belvedere Intense Unfiltered Vodka, Gvori Olive Juice, and Scrappy’s Firewater Habanero Tincture

Steak Street Tacos:

Marinated carne asada, Mexican slaw, and arbol salsa make these steak tacos as memorable as they are filling.

What to drink with it: Keep it classic! These tacos are perfect with our El Presidente Margarita, which includes Casamigos Blanco tequila, lime, agave, and Grand Marnier.

Grilled Fish Soft Tacos:

This platter is like a taste of the tropics! These tacos are prepared with Mahi Mahi, cholula aioli, avocado, and sweet cabbage. 

What to drink with it: One of our creative Mule cocktails is in order. The Ginger Colada, made with Malibu Coconut Rum, Cruzan Aged 151 Rum, pineapple juice, ginger beer, and cream is the perfect pick.

Crispy Lobster Soft Tacos:

Sweet lobster meat is beer battered, fried til crispy, and served up cabbage, mango salsa, and sweet chili aioli.

What to drink with it: Crispy always tastes great with the crispness of bubbles; try these tacos with some bubbly, or with another one of our ginger beer-infused Mule cocktails, like the Burro Borracho, made with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, lime, and ginger beer.

Specialties

All of our Specialties are served with our crispy crinkle cut fries, except for the Tuna Poke Bowl and the Grilled Chicken Brown Rice Bowl.

Mini Cheese Burgers:

These classic burgers are served with chopped onion and Bud Bud’s special sauce on a toasted bun. If desired, you can add double meat and cheese!

What to drink with it: Beer, obvi. Once again, you’re bound to find the perfect beer accompaniment on our menu, which includes over 50 craft brews!

Tuna Poke Bowl:

Healthy, yet delicious. This bowl is made with brown rice, mixed greens or combo, avocado, seaweed, and spicy aioli.

What to drink with it: One of our Hop-Tails is the perfect pairing with this virtuous meal. Try it with our tropical-themed Pineapple Express, made with Ciroc Vodka, pineapple shrub, lemon, agave, Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc.

Beer Battered Fish and Chips:

A perfect dish for watching the big game! Our version is served with vinegar powder and caper-fennel tartar sauce.

What to drink with it: Beer or bubbles are the perfect choice with fish and chips. A pale ale or even a cider work well with this classic dish.

Lobster Roll:

A northeast classic, right in Las Vegas! Ours is made with New England style lobster salad, and served on a warm jalapeno-cheddar roll.

What to drink with it: White wine is the perfect complement to the sweet-rich lobster meat. A Chardonnay adds the perfect zippy contrast.

Prime Steak Tip Skewers:

Marinated filet, served with house steak sauce. Does it get any better?

What to drink with it: Red wine and red meat are an ideal pairing. A hearty Cabernet is bold enough to stand up to the assertive steak sauce.

Philly Cheese Steak Panini:

Sliced prime ribeye is combined with sauteed peppers and onions and melted provolone. Perfection!

What to drink with it: Beer is always the right choice with this Philadelphia-style favorite. Try it with a pale ale!

Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich:

Simple but exquisite, this sandwich is made with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado, and served on pressed 7-grain ciabatta.

What to drink with it: Bubbly will help your palate recover between bites of this flavor-filled sandwich. Try it with a sparkling wine!

Grilled Chicken Brown Rice Bowl:

A delicious and healthy melange, featuring mixed greens, avocado, pico, diced cucumbers, and pickled red onions.

What to drink with it: Our Golden Boy cocktail has a little sweet, a little heat, and it pairs nicely with this dish. It’s made with Avion Silver Tequila, jalapeno, passion fruit, lime, agave, and a cinnamon-sugar rim.

Dessert

Deep Fried Oreos:

Yes, yes, yes! These sweet treats feature red velvet batter, birthday cake Oreos, and cream cheese icing.

What to drink with it: Sparkling wine makes these sweet treats sparkle even more.

Fried PB+J:

A classic lunch is transformed into dessert with the addition of marshmallow creme and Nutella dipping sauce. It cannot be missed!

What to drink with it: Once again, sparkling wine is the key to making this dessert extra divine.
